On May 16, 2018, the Scientific-Practical Conference “Civil Protection of Ukraine: Current Situation, Achievements, Problems, Prospects of Development” was held at the Institute of Public Administration in the field of Civil Protection.
Scientists from both Ukraine and from foreign educational institutions presented their scientific developments.
The participants of the conference discussed important issues of scientific and methodological provision of training of leading personnel and specialists in the field of civil protection, urgent problems of preventing emergencies, providing of man-made, fire and environmental safety. The issues of education of the population and the educational development of information technologies in general were highlighted.
Also, during the work of the conference sections, the issues of implementation of the main civil protection measures in modern conditions were discussed and ways of their solution in particular regarding the provision of premeditated assistance: in combat situations (tactical medicine) and in emergency situations in peacetime
Particular attention was paid to the discussion of the problem of improving innovative technologies in the educational space of training specialists in the field of civil protection. Further development of informatization, development of the information society in the country is impossible without effective interagency cooperation of specialists in the field of civil protection at the level of information systems. It should be based on common standards regulating the issues of registering and exchanging data between public authorities, business and citizens.
