Congratulations of Yevhen Romanenko with the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos!

Приметы и традиции празднования Рождества пресвятой Богородицы

Dear Colleagues!

I congratulate you with the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos!
The tradition of celebrating the Nativity of the Virgin was formed around the 5th century. According to legend, the Mother of God was born in Jerusalem in the family of the already elderly townspeople Joachim and Anna. They did not have children and they prayed a lot for the granting of heirs to them, as a result an angel appeared to Anna and promised: “The Lord has heeded your prayer, you will conceive and give birth, and they will talk about your offspring throughout the world.” And after nine months, the Virgin Mary was indeed born. The parents sent the girl to the temple, promising to devote their daughter’s life to serving God. In the temple, the Virgin Mary served until she came of age, and then married her husband Joseph and miraculously gave birth to Jesus Christ.
May every new day of your life bring you only good, fate will be generous for success, and the warmth and support of your loved ones warm your soul!
May fate be favorable to you and your family, and each new day gives pleasant impressions, pleasure from work and bright hope for future years!

Respectfully,
President of the Assembly                    E.A. Romanenko
