Every year on the eve of the church celebration of the Day of the Baptism of Kievan Rus and the memory of the holy co-apostles Grand Duke Vladimir and Grand Duchess Olga, the Christian world of Ukraine comprehends the unique way of development of Ukrainian Orthodoxy, which constantly emphasizes the importance of creativity, synergy of combining the rational and the mystical in human life and protecting human dignity and freedom of thought. The names of the holy co-apostles of Grand Duke Vladimir (Remembrance Day – July 28) and Grand Duchess Olga (Remembrance Day – July 24) are associated with the establishment of the Orthodox faith in our holy Ukrainian land, education and modernization of the Ukrainian people. These saints are not only precious pearls of church history, statesmen, diplomats, educators of the people, but also, in the words of a famous Ukrainian public figure, scientist, doctor of pedagogical sciences, doctor of philosophy, professor Galina Sagach, “Holy architects of the House of the Holy Trinity on our earth.” .

Consequently, even today the holy prince Vladimir and the holy princess Olga call on the Christians of Ukraine to build a fortress of spiritual freedom, creativity, joy, catholicity on the Ukrainian land, to build a house of the Holy Trinity. It is obvious that theological thought can develop only in the presence of a dialogue between representatives of different religions, theological schools, a certain discussion of the parties of the conditional conservative and liberal wing of the Christian Church. By competing with each other without using hierarchical coercion, the power of church hierarchs can reach certain real heights of the development of theological thought. Let us emphasize once again that coercion, restrictions and prohibitions have nothing to do with the scientific search for truth.

From our point of view, public administration as a science should not so much describe and analyze state and political processes, but interpret them from the point of view of current socio-political values of modern humanity. The scientist has a clear idea of the value bases of religion and culture, which are the basis for the development of the state and society. This greatly actualizes the problematic field of public administration science, a new understanding of its basic categories, including the foundations of Christian theology, the value framework of religion and the governmental mechanism of democracy on the basis of catholicity and unity of Christian communities in Ukraine. It is pleasant to watch when new Orthodox churches are born before our eyes, new religious communities emerge. It is these positive transformation processes that involve well-known Ukrainian public figures, specialists in the field of public administration – Alexander Mikhailovich Nepomnyashchy and Yuriy Grigoryevich Prav. It is well known that they are devoted to spiritual, moral, intellectual, social work to God, the Church, the native people and all mankind in the troubled times of the XXI century.

Christian patriots – Alexander Mikhailovich Nepomnyashchy and Yuriy Grigoryevich Prav invest their spiritual and intellectual tithe in the development of Orthodox churches in Kharkov. An unforgettable impression on Kharkiv residents, guests of the city, all those who are not indifferent, will certainly make a church of St. George the Victorious, which they built. Unforgettable are the words of inspiration delivered by Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Professor Yevgeny Alexandrovich Romanenko at a meeting of the Ukrainian Assembly of Doctors of Sciences in Public Administration: “It is important for us to establish constructive cooperation between religious organizations and scientific organizations. dialogue between the Christian Church and modern science, theologians and government officials. Today it is necessary to preserve, protect and renew our Christian faith, to comprehend the invaluable spiritual heritage of Ukrainian Orthodoxy for our generation and our descendants. ” This noble task is embodied in the deeds of scholars, who illuminate the way to the search for religious and scientific truth with the unquenchable light of their loving hearts and hard-working hands.

On the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the Baptism of Kievan Rus and the memory of the holy co-apostles, Grand Duke Vladimir and Grand Duchess Olga, a prayer of thanksgiving was held at the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. At the end of the church service the rector of the academic chapel in honor of the Council of the Twelve Apostles at IAPM Archpriest Dionysius Martyshyn, Doctor of Public Administration, Doctor of Theology, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Theology and Christian Communication IAPM with the blessing of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Unforgettable Alexander Mikhailovich Nepomnyashchy and Yuriy Grigoryevich Prav high church awards.

Archpriest Dionysius Martyshin congratulated the scientists along the way. In his speech, he noted: “I am convinced that modern society must return to its origins – history, culture, religious meanings, and therefore, to nurture a real catholicity, the spiritual unity of Ukraine.

Society needs to master the religious culture of mankind, aimed at resolving social, spiritual, moral and other conflicts. The public organization “Ukrainian Assembly of Doctors of Sciences in Public Administration” fulfills its noble mission through multifaceted scientific activities, spiritual and educational work, supporting civil peace, social harmony and civic solidarity. We all understand the consolidating role of the religious factor in a democratic multi-confessional Ukraine: Christian faith, religious pluralism, apostolic optimism integrate people into a single, conciliar community, form a true, not a false system of values through the system of social, spiritual and moral interaction. and representatives of modern science”.
