LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT: 20 YEARS EXPENSES AND FURTHER ACTION

       

        On December 5, 2017, in the NATIONAL ACADEMY OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION UNDER THE PRESIDENT OF UKRAINE hosted a scientific and practical conference on international participation “Local Government: 20 Years Achievements and Further Progress”.

        The conference allowed united pedagogical workers, civil servants, representatives of state authorities and local self-government, coordinators of international conventions, scientists and public figures.

        Participation in the conference was accepted by the Head of the Department of Public Administration of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, Doctor of science in public administration, professor, Romanenko Y.A. and postgraduate students of the department of public administration of Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, Vlasenko I.M. and Nahkur T.F.

        The participants of the event emphasized the importance of implementation in the field of public administration of projects to ensure sustainable economic development of local self-government, with the involvement of young people. The conference participants presented the prospective plans, projects, for the future period, priority directions and themes for the projects that will be implemented to ensure balanced development of the territorial communities, management of public resources, etc. The conference participants learned useful information on the use of modern tools and procedures for attracting financial resources for the implementation of local self-government in the united territorial communities.
