With the assistance of the public scientific organization “Ukrainian Assembly of Doctors of Sciences in Public Administration”, a scientific monograph “Theoretical principles of social service of the Orthodox Church in the context of globalization” was published. Authors of the publication – Martyshyn D.S. – Archpriest, Doctor of Science in Public Administration, Director of the Spiritual and Educational Center named after the Holy Apostles and Bochkov P.V. – Priest, Doctor of Theology, Professor of the Department of Church History of the Chernivtsi Orthodox Theological Institute.
The scientific monograph examines the essence of the social service of Christian churches and the characteristics of the theological thought of the church in matters of church, state and society. The role of Christian churches in the formation of complex processes of state formation is determined. The authors conclude that the urgent task of Ukrainian science is to introduce a new model of synthesis of science and religion.
